I haven't been on in a while as life has seemed to be extremely busy so here's a little Meeko update.
Things were going well with us for quite some time but I have noticed a change in my little friend. Unfortunately he has starting biting, A LOT! He never used to bite anyone, especially me, before but seems to have started this trend, of which I am not a fan of. I still try to make him sit with me but he just seems to want to chew on my fingers, clothes, etc. He's gotten quite nervouse with me too and will curl up in a ball and bite my fingers everytime I try to pick him up. I don't know where my friend and I went wrong, but somewhere down the line, he seems to have distanced himself from me :( It's very sad to realize because I do love him very much and want things to go back to the way they were.
I thought at first that maybe he didn't like my nail polish because I started wearing it daily so I took it off (while sacrificing my nice long nails to broken, brittle ones) in hopes that this would solve the problem. It has helped but not the extent that I would like. I'll still continue to take the bites and pokes and love him unconditionally, but it's still sad to feel that my little friend isn't as happy as he once was :(
